I definitely didn’t mean to stay away from blogging that long after Christmas, but my computer was acting up and I think it’s finally gotten out of it’s rebellious teenager stage
On Christmas Eve, I had to work until 12pm, which was lots of fun. After work, we packed everything up and headed to a Christmas celebration with Mr.D’s side of the family. His mom’s cousin hosts the party every year at her log cabin right on the lake…it’s so gorgeous! And every year there are carols to be sung
My FIL and niece
On Christmas morning, we went to my BIL’s house for breakfast and to watch our niece open up her first Christmas presents. She loved every minute of it and was definitely spoiled! After breakfast, we headed back to my in-law’s house and I helped make Christmas dinner. All of the family came over around 4ish and in total there were 14 of us total.
Mr.D and I. I looked really dazed, but I was just really tired as Harley was too excited the night before about Santa coming

Our first family picture
While we were home for Christmas, it was our niece’s first birthday so we were able to go to her party. She was so happy all day and I think she enjoyed the spotlight.
I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas and wish you a happy new year!
